High School Life Teen is an international Catholic movement which helps to lead teens closer to Christ. This is accomplished through a vibrant Eucharistic spirituality and by creating opportunities for teens to grow in their faith. The Life Teen program is open to teens in grades 9 to 12.

The very central part of Life Teen is the weekly Sunday Life Teen Mass at 4:00 pm, followed by a youth gathering, Life Night, which deal with teens on emotional, spiritual, educational and social levels. Besides challenging education and issue nights, incredible social events are planned throughout the semester.

History of Life Teen

Life Teen began in 1985 as a single-parish program in Mesa, Arizona. As it grew in popularity with the teens, people around the country began to take notice. The simple model of a Mass focused on teens and their families, followed by a catechetical session called a “Life Night,” remains effective to this day. In the past two decades, Life Teen has grown into one of the most prolific Catholic youth ministry programs in the world.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How does my teen join Life Teen?
The easiest way to join Life Teen is to show up on any Sunday evening during Life Night in the Parish Hall (Room 127) and fill out a registration packet.  You can also pick up a registration packet from the Life Teen bulletin board next to the parish office.

When is Life Night?

Life Nights occur most Sunday evenings of the year, including the summer, after the 4 PM Life Teen Mass.  Life Nights are held in the Parish Hall (Room 127), where we gather for activities, teachings, prayer and small group discussions. Life Nights start right after the 4 PM Life Teen Mass on Sunday, and concludes at 7:00 PM.

Does it cost to join Life Teen?

There is an annual registration fee for Life Teen.  Payment plans are available.

Who is the Core Team?
Core Team members are church volunteers. If you are interested in learning more about how you can become involved with Life Teen as an adult volunteer, visit us during Life Night and tell one of our volunteers that you want to know more.

Do teens attend any retreats?

Each year teens are invited to attend the Archdiocesan Youth Conference and Steubenville Retreat.  Students can help with fundraisers to help cover the costs of these activities.
