First Responder Ministry
 
The St. Cyril “First Responders”ministry grew out of the pastoral need to meet the emergency and urgency of phone calls from family members requesting (AOS) the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick (some still refer to it as last rites) for a relative who is dying.

Anointing of the Sick Ministry
 
Anointing is intended for critical moments at the onset of illness, the progression of a serious disease, or a notable weakening in the physical condition of an elderly person.
The AOS is administered at St. Cyril on a regular basis during the Mass as well as upon request prior to a pending surgical procedure.

“Unción a los Enfermos”
 
La unción esta intencionado para momentos críticos en la aparición de la enfermedad, la progresión de una enfermedad grave, o un debilitamiento notable en la condición física de una persona de edad avanzada.
El sacramento ó AOS, por sus siglas en ingles, se administra en San Cirilo sobre una base regular durante la Misa, así como a petición de antes para  un procedimiento quirúrgico pendiente

2^nd Family Respite Care
 
What is a 2^nd Family? - A Care Team made up of members of St. Cyril, reaches out to offer respite for the caregiver(s), forming a 2^nd Family for someone with a chronic illness or disability.
Based on the needs of the “care partner” and their availability, the Care Team members act as an extended family providing the help needed to offer the care giver a break, thus the title Respite Care.

¿Que es 2^nd Familia? --  A través de un “Care Team”, la 2^nd Familia es un ministerio formado por miembros de nuestra parroquía quienes ofrecen apoyo a la gente que cuidan a aquellos que viven con enfermidades crónicas o están deshabilitados.
Basado en las necesidades del Care Partner, el ministerio se ofrece en el  tiempo disponible y con las habilidades del miembro.

2^nd Family  - Legion of Mary
 
 The object of the Legion of Mary is the sanctification of its members by prayer and active apostolic work in union with Mary. The Legion prayers include a petition to the Holy Spirit, the Rosary, and the Magnificat.
Legionaries place themselves at the service of Mary, and wish to help her in her mission as "Mother of the Church."

2^da Familia -Legión de María
 
El objeto de la Legión de María es la santificación de sus miembros por medio de la oración y del trabajo apostólico activo en unión con Maria.
Las oraciones de la Legión de María incluyen la petición al Espíritu Santo, el Rosario, y el Magnificat.
Los legionarios se dedican al servicio de Maria, y desean ayudarle en su misión como " Madre de la iglesia."

The Funeral Ministry
 
Members of the St. Cyril of Alexandria Funeral Ministry support and provide guidance regarding funeral preparation. We hold out the promise of hope in Jesus Christ, and a helping hand, to assist you through this time of loss, pain, and transition.
Be assured that you will be in our prayers during this difficult journey through death to life.

Los miembros del Ministerio Fúnebre de San Cirilo de Alejandría apoyan y proporcionan orientación con respecto a la preparación fúnebre. Tenemos la promesa de esperanza en Jesucristo, y una mano amiga, para ayudarle a través de este tiempo de la pérdida, el dolor y la transición.

Healing the Grief Ministry
  
The bereavement ministry Healing the Grief is dedicated to providing emotional comfort and spiritual support following the loss of a loved one. The ministry was started by a group of parishioners who had each suffered such losses.
Our purpose is to offer support to each other and to others in our community who have also lost someone they love. 

Ministerio de Duelo Sanando el Dolo
 
ElMinisterio de Duelo Sanando el Dolor se dedica a brindar consuelo emocional y ayuda espiritual para soportar la pérdida de un ser querido. El ministerio fue formado por un grupo de feligreses que habían sufrido, cada uno de ellos, tal pérdida.
Nuestro propósito es ofrecer ayuda a miembros de nuestra comunidad que también hayan perdido a un ser amado.

 Outreach Ministry
 
Called by the Holy Spirit to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, the Outreach Ministry establishes a regular telephone contact with registered members of the St. Cyril faith community. There is also a follow up phone call to every individual who receives the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick through St. Cyril.

Llamado por el Espíritu Santo para ampliar el ministerio curativo de Jesucristo, el ministerio de Outreach establece un contacto de teléfono regular con los miembros registrados de la comunidad de la fe del San Cirilo. También realizan una llamada de teléfono de la carta de recordatorio a cada individuo para que reciba el sacramento de unción al enfermo a través de San Cirilo.
